HEAVY METAL TESTING
Heavy Metal Indicator Test Paper
The paper will indicate, by changing color, if the element or compound is present. It will not indicate the amount, only if there is a presence. Each test paper may be snipped to a very small size, then with an eye dropper, the contaminated water can be dropped onto the paper.
The strip size is usually: 3/8" X 1 1/4"
The blood test is used by police, CSI, medical examiners. The paper is fragile, and is in it’s own sealed envelope. It can be snipped, but the purpose was to re-seal and maintain integrity.
Handling of the test paper is always to be cautious. Wash your hands after exposure, do not allow children to touch or come in contact. Disposal should be down the sink, toilet, or trash. It is not hazardous waste.
20 strips, except for: Lead 10 strips; and blood one strip. A strip may be snipped into 5-10 pieces.
